After 10 years of owning and operating franchises and five years in our first home, we decided to sell it all in pursuit of a change. We bought and moved into our fifth wheel full-time with our young kids and two dogs…

We had never experienced the camping lifestyle, but we jumped in full force. Over the following year, we rediscovered what was important to us as a family. We were no longer bombarded by daily distractions (and rooms to clean). Instead, those things were replaced with time spent together, exploring our beautiful country. Camping grounded us. It opened our eyes to a community that sought simplicity over buying things and a want to be rooted in nature. It wasn’t long before it sparked our desire to own and operate a family campground. With several months of full-time RV living, traveling half the country, and visiting countless campgrounds under our belt — we were ready for the next adventure. We moved back to our home state of North Carolina and with the rest of our family we have started to turn the dream of building a campground into a reality. As a family and a business, we want to share the joys of camping with others. We hope to provide the same fulfillment and wonderful experiences that inspired our enthusiasm for camping.

MEET OUR BEHIND-THE-SCENE TEAM

Joe & Theresa Judge

Joe and Theresa have lived throughout the country but have always found themselves happiest in the South. They currently call Murrells Inlet, SC their home along with their puppy Teddy. Joe has spent the last 25 years working with and coaching family businesses and executive boards. Theresa has always had a passion for hosting, decorating & caring for those around her. Theresa’s creative spirit and sense of humor brings smiles and laughter everywhere she goes. Their experience and passions have inspired them to find an opportunity to create a family business that incorporated their three children Heather, Bryan, Kelley and their families. In The Pines RV & Cabin Village was an idea everyone could get behind and they’re excited to see it come to fruition.

Heather & Charlie Greene

Heather and Charlie both grew up in North Carolina and met in college at Appalachian State University. They currently reside in Murrells Inlet, SC with their son Dalton and little dog Rollie; just a short walk from Joe and Theresa’s home. Charlie successfully owns and operates a SnapOn Tools franchise. Heather helps manage their franchise and continues to expand her resume in customer relations and coaching. Most weekends you will find them cheering for Dalton at one of his sporting events or enjoying their coastal living.

Kelley & Joe Del Vecchio

Kelley and Joe met while they were both attending college in New York. Shortly after graduating, they got married; moved to Wilmington, NC; and started their life together. Joe grew up in a family business where he learned what it takes to run a successful company. He and Kelley started their own electrical contracting company, Del Vecchio Electric, which continues to grow throughout Wilmington and surrounding areas of NC. Kelley and Joe have two children, Charlotte and Jack. As a family, they love to be active — spending a lot of their free time between dance lessons, soccer games, running, cycling, and walking their two dogs Darling and Winston.

Bryan & Jessie Judge

Bryan and Jessie are native to North Carolina and love their home state. Bryan spent 10 years operating and managing several Snap-On franchises throughout North and South Carolina. In 2019, they made the decision to sell their business and their home in the pursuit of a change. With their two daughters and dogs, they lived and traveled full-time in their RV across America. It was during that time that they discovered their deep appreciation for camping, the outdoors, and everything it has to offer. That appreciation grew into a desire to create and operate a campground that would excite others in a way that they themselves had been inspired through their camping experience. When returning to North Carolina in 2020, they shared their vision with their family and together they have worked to turn that dream into a reality - In The Pines RV & Cabin Village.
