After a decade of owning and managing franchises, and five years in our first home, we decided it was time for a change. We sold it all and bought a fifth wheel to live in full-time with our kids and two dogs.

Though we had no prior experience with camping, we dove into the lifestyle headfirst. Over the next year, we rediscovered what truly mattered as a family. We were no longer overwhelmed by daily distractions or maintaining a big house. Instead, we focused on spending quality time together, exploring the beauty of our country. The simplicity and connection to nature that camping offered grounded us, and opened our eyes to a community that values experiences over possessions.

This newfound perspective sparked a dream: to own and operate a family campground. With months of full-time RV living and visits to countless campgrounds across the country, we felt ready for the next adventure. So, we returned to our home state of North Carolina, where, alongside our family, we began turning our dream of building a campground into a reality.

As a family and a business, we’re excited to share the joys of camping with others and hope to offer the same fulfilling experiences that ignited our passion for the outdoors.

MEET OUR BEHIND-THE-SCENE TEAM

Joe & Theresa Judge

Joe and Theresa have called many places home over the years, but the South has always held a special place in their hearts. They now live in Murrells Inlet, SC, with their puppy, Teddy. For the past 25 years, Joe has worked with and coached family businesses and executive boards, while Theresa has pursued her passion for hosting, decorating, and caring for others. Her creative energy and sense of humor bring joy and laughter wherever she goes.

Their shared experience and passions led them to a vision: creating a family business that would include their three children—Heather, Bryan, and Kelley—and their families. In The Pines RV & Cabin Village was the perfect opportunity for everyone to get behind, and they’re thrilled to see it coming to life.

Heather & Charlie Greene

Heather and Charlie, both North Carolina natives, met while attending Appalachian State University. They now live in Murrells Inlet, SC, just a short walk from Joe and Theresa's home, with their son Dalton and their little dog, Rollie.

Charlie is the proud owner and operator of a Snap-on Tools franchise, while Heather plays an integral role in managing the business and continues to grow her expertise in customer relations and coaching. On most weekends, you’ll find them cheering on Dalton at his sporting events or soaking up the coastal lifestyle they love.

Kelley & Joe Del Vecchio

Kelley and Joe crossed paths while attending college in New York, and shortly after graduating, they got married, moved to Wilmington, NC, and began building their life together. Joe grew up in a family business, where he learned the ins and outs of running a successful company. Together with Kelley, he started their own electrical contracting business, Del Vecchio Electric, which continues to grow and serve the Wilmington area and beyond.

Kelley and Joe are parents to three children: Charlotte, Jack, and their newborn son, Milo. As a family, they love staying active, spending much of their free time running, cycling, attending dance lessons and soccer games, and walking their two dogs, Darling and Winston.

Bryan & Jessie Judge

Bryan and Jessie, both calling North Carolina home, have a deep love for their home state. For ten years, Bryan ran and managed multiple Snap-On franchises across North and South Carolina. But in 2019, they decided it was time for a change. They sold their business and home, and with their two daughters and dogs, embarked on a full-time RV adventure across America.

It was during this journey that they discovered their passion for camping, the outdoors, and the sense of freedom it offers. That newfound appreciation quickly grew into a dream: to create a campground that would offer others the same excitement and connection to nature that they had experienced.

After returning to North Carolina in 2020, they shared their vision with their family, and together, they began working to bring their dream to life. Today, that dream is becoming a reality at In The Pines RV & Cabin Village.
