Bring your RV, settle into a cabin or try the RV life without bringing a rig. Every stay puts you on the same 40 acres of pines, 20 minutes from Southport, 25 minutes from Oak Island and 30 minutes from Wilmington.
In The Pines was built by people who had just spent a year living in a fifth wheel, and that experience shows in the details. Choose a full-hookup RV site, a comfortable cabin or a rental RV that is already set up and waiting.
Gravel pads with water, sewer and 50-amp power, a picnic table, a fire pit, two parking spots and room to pitch a tent alongside. Pull-through and back-in.
Think of them as cottages, small but comfortable. A private bath, a real kitchen, heat and air, a Smart TV, and a porch with chairs looking onto the common green.
A fully loaded travel trailer parked on its own full-hookup site and set up before you arrive. King master, queen loft, sofa beds in the office and living room, eight people, an fully equipped kitchen with an island and full-size appliances with a full stove and oven, a fireplace, a 50-inch TV, and an outdoor kitchen on the patio side.
The rental RV is booked by phone rather than online, so we can walk you through it.
Not assigned one on arrival. At step two of booking you choose the exact number, and the 360° tour and the park map let you see where it sits before you do. Plans change: cancel seven or more days out and you get a full refund, less a $10 fee.
RV sites check in at 2:00 PM and out at 12:00 PM. Cabins check in at 3:00 PM and out at 11:00 AM. Early or late is sometimes possible with approval.
Dogs and cats, up to two per reservation, on sites and in cabins alike. Cabin pet fees are applied during booking.
Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail. Not every amenity runs year-round, but the gate never closes for the season.

Full-hookup RV sites, cabins, and a rental RV that sleeps eight. All of them sit on the same forty acres of loblolly pine, twenty-five minutes from the Oak Island beaches and twenty from Southport.
RV sites run $70 to $110 a night and cabins $100 to $190, before taxes and fees. Where you land in that range depends on the site, the season and your dates, so the live calendar is the straight answer: pick your dates and it prices the stay as you go. Or call the office on 910.845.5040.
RV sites check in from 2:00 PM and out by 12:00 PM. Cabins and the rental RV check in from 3:00 PM and out by 11:00 AM.
Both are enforced, the crews need the turnover. Early check-in or late check-out is sometimes possible with the office’s approval.
Two nights on a weekend, and midweek you can book a single night online. You can book up to 60 days online. We are a short-term park, so for anything longer call the front office and ask what is possible.
Yes. Dogs and cats, up to two per reservation, on RV sites and in cabins alike. Register them at the front office when you arrive; vaccination records may be asked for.
A lead no longer than six feet outside your rig or cabin, off leash only inside the dog park fence. Pets are not permitted in the office, restrooms, showers, laundry, pool or playground. Cabin pet fees are applied during booking.
You can. Site and cabin numbers are chosen at step two of the booking. It is easy to click past, and worth not doing. The 360° tour is the fastest way to decide which one you want.
One tent alongside your rig on an RV site, at no extra charge. Sites are limited to six people. We do not have standalone tent sites.
Yes, all year and in all weather. Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail shall keep us from hosting you. Not every amenity runs year-round (the pool in particular is seasonal), but the gate never closes for the season.
