Open Year-Round
The campground is open year-round. Some amenities are seasonal, including the pool, so check the appropriate page or contact the office if something specific matters to your stay.

Check-In and Check-Out Times
Both are strictly enforced, the crews need the turnover. Early check-in and late check-out are sometimes possible with pre-approval from the office.
RV sites
Check in from 2:00 PM. Check out by 12:00 PM.
Cabins and the rental RV
Check in from 3:00 PM. Check out by 11:00 AM.
Minimum and maximum stay
Two nights on a weekend, one midweek. Up to 60 days online; call the office for longer. Extending a stay you’re already on carries no change fee, subject to availability.
Paying
All fees, taxes and charges are due at the time of booking. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
A Few Rules That Keep the Park Comfortable

For the safety of guests, children and pets. Golf carts and ATVs are welcome and keep to the same limit.
Fires in the fire pit
Designated pits only, never unattended, out before you leave. Gather dead ground wood, or buy firewood where you burn it.
Pets on a six-foot leash
Except inside the dog park fence. Clean up straight away and use your own site’s bin.
Nobody under 21 without a parent
Cabins hold four people; RV sites hold six, with one tent per site.

What to Know When You Arrive
Come to the front office first, RV sites from 2:00 PM, cabins from 3:00 PM. Have your booking confirmation to hand, and register any pets while you are there; vaccination records may be asked for.
The speed limit in the park is 5 mph and it is posted. Golf carts and ATVs are welcome and keep to the same limit.
What you do not need
A dump station stop on the way out. Every RV site is full hookup, with sewer at the pad.
Bedding, for a cabin. Linens are on the beds when you walk in.
A generator. Every site has 50-amp power.
Firewood hauled from home. Buy it where you burn it, the NC Forest Service asks that untreated wood not travel between counties.

What are the office hours?
Daily, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Worth confirming when you book.
Can we arrive after the office closes?
Tell the office your arrival time when you book and they will tell you how to get in.
What are the quiet hours?
The park observes quiet hours nightly and pets must be quiet during them. The exact times are posted at the office.
Are you open year round?
Yes, all year and in all weather. Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail shall keep us from hosting you. Not every amenity runs year-round (the pool in particular is seasonal), but the gate never closes for the season.
How long can we stay?
Two nights on a weekend, and midweek you can book a single night online. You can book up to 60 days online. We are a short-term park. If you need longer, call the front office and ask what is possible.
What if I need to cancel?
Before anything else: call 910.845.5040 and we will move your trip free of charge, even if you do not have new dates yet. The credit sits on your account until you do.
If you would rather cancel outright: seven or more days before arrival, a full refund less a $10 administrative fee. Under seven days: you lose two nights, or three on a holiday. Within 48 hours of arrival: the whole stay.
Extending a stay you are already on carries no change fee, subject to availability. There are no refunds for weather or for leaving early: travel insurance is worth considering. The full policy.
Can we have visitors?
Check with the front office before inviting day visitors. No guest under 21 may be on the property without a parent.
