From a clean, modern bathhouse and laundry to the seasonal pool, camp store, dog park and Wi-Fi across the property, the practical side of camping is well covered here.
From the modern bathhouse and on-site laundry to the seasonal pool, camp store, fenced dog park and Wi-Fi throughout the property, the amenities at In The Pines are designed to make campground life easier and more enjoyable. Every RV site has its own picnic table and fire pit, while the playground, jump pad, gaga ball and walking trails give everyone more reasons to spend the day outside.
You’ll also find plenty of thoughtful touches that make a longer stay easier, from two parking spaces at your site to convenient access to the front office, store and shared spaces around the park. Whether you’re here for a quick coastal getaway or settling in for a couple of weeks, the goal is simple: give you what you need without getting in the way of the camping experience.

The store covers the basics, the things you discover you left at home about an hour after you arrive. It is also where you buy a gem and fossil mining bag, pick up In The Pines shirts and swag, collect a treasure map, and ask the question you have been meaning to ask.
There is a neon sign on the wall that reads the sappiest place on earth. It tells you most of what you need to know about the people who built it.
The store and front office are open every day, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Clean, modern showers and restrooms are one of the things guests mention most often after a stay. The laundry is in the same building, so the practical part of camping stays simple.

On-site, in the same building as the bathhouse. $5 a load, $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry. Venmo or pay in the office.
The bathhouse, the laundry and the office and store are all smoke-free, along with the cabins.
It matters to us that four-legged guests have a good stay, too. The fenced dog park gives them a place to run off leash, and 20 acres of mown trails give you plenty of room for a proper walk.
Everywhere else in the park we ask that pets stay under their owner’s control at all times, on a leash no longer than six feet. Please clean up after them and use the trash bin at your own site. Off leash is for inside the dog park fence.
Up to two pets per reservation, on RV sites and in cabins alike. Travelling with more than two furry friends? Call 910.845.5040 and we will happily talk through what we can do for the whole crew, especially on an RV site. Dogs are not allowed in the bathhouse showers or in the pool area; rinse them at your own site.

In The Pines partners with Tank Rangers, a family-owned RV tank cleaning service working the coastal communities around us. They deep clean black and gray holding tanks, and clear the buildup behind the odors and the clogs. The same process usually gets the sensors reading honestly again, which is the part most owners have quietly given up on.
Once a year is the usual recommendation if you camp for fun. Full-timers tend to go twice.
They come to you. No breaking camp, no driving the rig anywhere, no losing an afternoon to it.
Ask Tank Rangers about the current In The Pines guest discount when you book the service.
Call or text 843.429.3598. Worth doing before you arrive if your dates are tight.
Not every amenity runs year-round: the pool in particular is seasonal.
Twenty of them left as woods, with mown trails running through.
Shallow at both ends, which parents of small swimmers notice.
Bags from $10, open daily 9 to 5, to campers and the public alike.
Firewood, ice, gem and fossil mining and the charger you forgot.
And a picnic table beside it. Grills are at the cabins.
Available throughout the campground.
Off leash, a short walk from the sites.
The thing guests keep writing reviews about.
A hand-built wooden set and an inflatable pad.
A kinder, gentler dodgeball. You will lose.
A clue trail through the pines, and gemstones for whoever finds the stash.
It is the thing guests mention most. One Google review reads “the bathhouse feels like a luxury home, they’re clean and so modern, double points for the nice shower heads”, and another simply “bathrooms are luxurious and spotless”. Everything here was built new at once, which is why.
Yes, in the same building as the bathhouse. The cost per load is posted inside.
It is seasonal, and shallow at both ends. Season dates and hours are posted at the pool gate.
A fenced one, a short walk from the sites, where dogs can be off leash. Everywhere else in the park it is a six-foot leash. Sorry, dogs only in the dog park.
The basics: firewood, ice, the charger you left at home. It is also where you buy a gem and fossil mining bag. Hours are posted at the door.
WiFi is available throughout the park. Performance can vary, so contact us if your trip depends on a particular connection need.
You will not need one: every RV site is full hookup, with sewer at the pad. There is no public dump station here, and dumping is for registered guests at their own site only, so we cannot take drop-ins looking to pay to empty their tanks.
If your tanks need more than a rinse, Tank Rangers deep cleans black and gray tanks right at your site. Ask about the current In The Pines guest discount. Call or text 843.429.3598, or read how it works.
Not in the cabins, the pool area or any building, the cabins, bathhouse, laundry and camp store are all smoke-free. Outdoors at your own site is fine. Please dispose of butts properly; they are not for the ground or the fire pit.
