Getting here

Plan Your Approach

The park is on George II Highway SE, the road that runs between US-17 and the Oak Island side of the county. Set your navigation to 1600 George II Hwy SE, Bolivia, NC 28422 and it will bring you in correctly.

Coming from Wilmington

South on US-17 through Leland and into Brunswick County, then across to George II Highway. About thirty minutes.

Coming from Myrtle Beach

North on US-17 through Shallotte and Supply. About an hour.

Coming from Southport

North and inland. Plan on about 20 minutes.

Coming from Oak Island

North and inland, depending which bridge you cross. Plan on about 25 minutes from the bridge and the first beach accesses.

In a big rig

The roads in are straightforward and the park itself was laid out recently, so the interior turns are generous. Put the address in your GPS and come whichever way it sends you. We have not had a big rig struggle to get here from any direction.

Your first stop is the office

Come to the front office to check in, RV sites from 2:00 PM, cabins from 3:00 PM. If you are going to arrive early, call us. RV sites are nearly always ready, and cabins depend on where the cleaners are, but we are happy to let you in when we can. The speed limit inside is 5 mph and it matters, because there are children at play.

Arriving With a Larger Rig?

The approach is straightforward and the park itself was laid out recently and for modern rigs, so the interior roads are wide and the turns are generous. Most of what makes an arrival awkward (low branches, tight switchbacks, a gate you cannot swing into) is a problem at older parks retrofitted around existing trees. This one was not.

Worth a phone call first

Sites take rigs up to 50 ft. Not every site is that long, but several are, and the booking calendar asks for your length and will not put you somewhere you do not fit.
